Automated Transmission System for Textile Factory

Designed and implemented a mechanical transmission system to optimize the operational flow of a textile factory. Using SolidWorks, the system was engineered with gears, chains, sprockets, and pneumatic cylinders, and integrated with automatic controls to adjust variables such as speed, material flow, and torque. The project encompassed the formulation, design, and commissioning phases, ensuring the system met all client requirements for efficiency and reliability.

Granular Material Silos with Automated Dosage System

Designed heavy-duty silos in SolidWorks to withstand several tons of granular material, incorporating a lower dosing system with screw conveyors. The system measures material weight using load-cell-equipped hoppers, automatically opening lower gates to release the product into a larger screw conveyor that collects material from all silos. The project included structural calculations to ensure load-bearing capacity, screw conveyor design for efficient material flow at a specified speed, and the integration of an automated control system. This control system monitors variables, ensures accuracy, and operates gates upon reaching the required weight, providing a seamless and reliable dosing process.

Created a detailed Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) using AutoCAD, mapping the complete flow of various services such as compressed air, hot water, product lines, and steam. The diagram includes all equipment, inlets, outlets, and essential accessories, along with specifications like pipe diameters and flow directions. Each line was meticulously planned based on calculations to determine its components and layout, ensuring an optimal and efficient operational flow for the industrial system.

FM Transmitter PCB with Digital Monitoring System

Designed a PCB for an FM transmitter, incorporating multiple stages for audio signal processing. The board features a digital monitoring system powered by an ESP32 and a TFT display, providing real-time information on key variables such as operating power, transmission frequency, left/right audio VU meters, temperature, and antenna status. The PCB was designed in KiCAD, ensuring precision in layout and functionality to meet the specific requirements of signal integrity and performance monitoring.

HMI Interface Design for FM Transmitter

Developed a Human-Machine Interface (HMI) for the FM transmitter project, displaying critical system variables on a TFT screen. The interface includes graphical elements such as VU meters for R, L, and MPX modulation, direct and reflected power readings, system temperature, transmission frequency, and an alarm system to notify users of specific parameter behaviors. Additionally, a touchscreen configuration panel was implemented for easy user adjustments. The interface was designed using LittleVGL and enhanced with Squareline Studio for a polished and user-friendly experience.

Custom PCB Design for ATmega32u4-Based System

Designed a custom PCB featuring the ATmega32u4 microcontroller, commonly found in Arduino Mega boards. The PCB includes a microSD card reader, two multiplexers for expanding analog and digital I/O capabilities, and a USB hub to enable cascading connections for additional devices. The board was carefully designed in KiCAD, ensuring optimal performance and adaptability for a variety of applications.

Designed a roller conveyor system for compressed scrap bins, featuring two geared motors, load-cell integration for weight measurement, and a stopping mechanism to check the weight of the bins before they are moved to the next stage. Special attention was given to material selection and calculations to ensure durability in the harsh conditions of a metallurgical environment. The design was completed using SolidWorks, ensuring the system's functionality and resilience under demanding operational conditions.
